2. Website Access and Server Log Data

When this website is accessed, technically necessary access data is processed. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, requested file, referrer, browser information, operating system information, HTTP status code, and amount of data transferred.

This processing takes place to provide the website securely, stably, and in a technically functional manner. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website.

Server log data is stored only as long as required for secure operation, troubleshooting, and protection against attacks. Unless longer storage is required in an individual case, log data is deleted or anonymized no later than after 14 days.

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers used for hosting, operation, and security of the website.

3. Reach Measurement

This website uses self-operated reach measurement. Technical usage data is processed, for example page views, referrers, browser, operating system, device type, time of access, and approximate country of origin.

Reach measurement takes place without cookies and without advertising user profiles. The analytics service is self-hosted and requests are sent to this website’s own domain, not to a third-party analytics domain. The analysis serves to better understand website usage and to improve the website technically and editorially.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in privacy-conscious analysis and improvement of the website.

The data is not used for advertising tracking across other websites. It is not combined with data from contact requests.

Raw reach-measurement data is deleted no later than after 24 months. Database backups are retained for 14 days and then automatically deleted.

4. Contact by Email or Phone

If you contact me by email or phone, the information you provide is processed in order to handle your request. This may include, in particular, your name, contact details, the content of the request, and other information voluntarily provided.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if the request is directed toward entering into or performing a contract. In all other cases, processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in handling and answering incoming requests.

The data is deleted once the request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests in further storage prevent deletion.

5. Local Browser Storage

This website uses local browser storage for display functions and user-selected controls, for example storing the selected color display. This information remains on your device and can be deleted through your browser settings.

The storage takes place in order to provide a display mode or function selected by the user.

This website itself does not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Third-party video providers may set their own cookies or similar identifiers after you actively load a video.

6. Local Fonts

All fonts used by this website are hosted locally. There is no connection to Google servers for font delivery and therefore no transmission of personal data to Google for this purpose.
